Our vision is to explore the link between three of humanity's most critical concerns: social justice, environmental sustainablity and spiritual fulfillment. As a non-profit social change organization, our mission is to inspire humanity to awaken to a reverence for life through the media, arts and education. Nobel Peace Laureate Albert Schweitzer said, "By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world....By practicing reverence for life we become good, deep and alive." Reverence for life means recognizing and honoring the sacred in all relationships, which includes people, other species and the environment. We practice and apply the principles of sacred activism which is the fusion of inner work of heart with outer service in the world.

JourneysFire International is ushering in a movement of peace and justice, charged with a sense of awe at the wonder of this precious Earth. It's time to wake up to the critical need to appropriate spirit and love, to re-infuse it into our lives and our actions. Our future is depending on each and every one of us. May we be in awe of the wonder of life in all its forms and teach our children to respect it in all its manifestations, helping them to see the beauty of this Earth and its inhabitants.
