PRESIDENT

Richard Brendan, MA, CC is President and Founder of JourneysFire International. As a teacher, humanitarian and radio/tv host, he is a respected voice on human relations and engaged spirituality and an inspiring speaker in the area of personal and social development. His experience in spiritual care for hospice taught him the value of life and time. Richard believes that awareness of death is a wake-up call for life because it helps us heal old wounds, refine our purpose and lead fearless, authentic lives. He considers inspiring humanity to awaken to a reverence for life as his primary call and uses many different expressions to communicate that message. He holds a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Illinois, a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communications from Purdue University and is a certified Life Purpose Coach from the Life Purpose Institute. Richard is Executive Producer of JourneysFire Radio and the Sacred Romance CD. He is also host of DREAMTIME, a television series that explores people's dreams and potential meanings, which will air on WFYI/PBS (www.dreamtimetv.com). And because of his love for nature and children and the wisdom he has learned from the elderly and mystic poets, he is also a life member of the Dead Poet's Society. Richard encourages you to choose to lean into this day and celebrate the miracles that are all around you.

Heidi Fledderjohn, MA, ADTR has worked as a Dance/movement Therapist since 1990. Heidi draws from a deep well of creative experience. She is a life long dancer and delighter in the arts. Heidi is a practitioner of Authentic Movement and is trained in massage. She is also a big fan of public libraries, public radio and public hugging! All these tools, coupled with her Masters Degree in psychotherapy, generate a solid, soulful, and vibrant approach to life, change and self.
